Outlaw
CrossFit South Denver currently offers advanced programming 5 days/week for individuals who are interested in competing. In order to participate in these workouts, athletes will be required to meet at least 9 of the below 10 performance standards. The 5 day/week regimen will be programming that is created by The Outlaw Way. Frankly, the below performance standards should be VERY attainable for anyone who is looking to compete. If you cannot meet 9+ of the below performance standards, you are not ready to compete in most competitions. Additionally, if you do not meet 9+ of the 10 below performance standards, but are interested in participating in these workouts, you now have a new training goal: meet the below performance standards through active participation in the main WODs. Clark will unilaterally be testing athletes who are interested in participating.
These advanced workouts will be offered on the following schedule:
Monday: 5:15pm
Tuesday: 5:15pm
Thursday: 5:15pm
Friday: 5:15pm
Saturday: 11:30am
The Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday Outlaw WODs will begin at 5:15pm to allow Clark to go over range of motion with Outlaw class participants prior to the 5:30pm WOD. At this time, the Outlaw WODs will only be offered at the above times. I wish I could offer this programming at many times throughout the day, but it would simply be a logistical nightmare to do so. Outlaw participants are more than welcome to participate in the main WOD or Outlaw WOD. Please do not ask if you can do the Outlaw WOD at times other than the above-listed times. If you qualify and would like to participate in the Outlaw WODs, these WODs will ONLY be offered at the above-listed times.
If you are unfamiliar with The Outlaw Way, feel free to peruse the website. Over 125 athletes that followed Outlaw programming competed in regionals at the CrossFit Games in 2012.
